Allan Kirk has done many things in his life. He's been the editor of an international magazine, a motorcycle safety expert, a successful author, a radio producer, a playwright and much more.
Ask him how he's done it and he'll tell you it was the result of one thing - he learnt Transcendental Meditation when he was in his twenties and this gets rid of the stress that is ever-present in modern life and is often very debilitating.
Getting rid of stress has helped him get the best out of life and of himself.
Stress is a terrible thing in our society. If you can get rid of it through meditation, the world's your chocolate (after all, chocolate is so much nicer than oysters!).
Allan has written about 40 children's non-fiction book.
Many of these can be found in school and public libraries in New Zealand.
Since the 1970s, over 40 How-To books on motorcycle riding skills have been written by Allan.
The books are very popular, probably due to the fact that Allan spent over 40 years carrying out motorcyle rider training and promoting motorcycle safety.
He has now retired from the area, having decided that beating one's head against a brick wall is no fun, even if you're wearing a crash helmet.
Allan got into radio work late in life and produces radio shows on Smooth Jazz for 11 radio stations in New Zealand.
He is also working on the production of some comedy radio programs, a rare commodity in New Zealand these days.
Allan first encountered graphology in an article in Playboy when he was a young man (he only read the magazine for the articles, of course).
He tried it on himself and it worked!
So over his lifetime he has built up a graphology knowledgebase that he uses mainly to entertain people.
Those close to him say he is extremely accurate in his analyses.

Allan is an Assemblage artist , creating amusing works of art from found things.
The best examples of these can be found in his Picture The Word exhibitions. These link together an intellectual challenge, humour and art..
Allan was one of the founders of the volunteer group The Smiles For Seniors Foundation
